GO HOME EARLY EMERGENCY DRILL
All City School District of ÉðÊ¿Âþ» schools will dismiss 15 minutes early Friday, Oct. 11 to participate in the annual Go Home Early emergency preparedness drill. The State Education Department requires all schools to conduct this test each year.
All after-school programs and activities will be canceled. However, all ÉðÊ¿Âþ» student-athletes will be permitted to return to their team practices at 3:45 p.m. At dismissal, ÉðÊ¿Âþ» High student-athletes should report to the bleachers on the turf athletic field.
All modified practices will be canceled. Any middle school student on an ÉðÊ¿Âþ» High athletic team will require parental transportation to the high school if practice is occuring. Please check with your team's coach for that schedule information.
There are three away competitions on Oct. 11 -- modified and high school cross country, and two at the high school level. These events require dismissal prior to the scheduled emergency preparedness drill dismissal time. The district will provide transportation to and from these competitions as usual.
Please read the following information carefully to assist with your planning for after-school programs.
Please also note that all district schools and offices also will be closed Monday, Oct. 14 in observance of Columbus/Indigenous Peoples’ Day.

Students attending after-school programs at childcare or agencies not located in district schools:
Students regularly transported to childcare or agencies not located in district buildings will be transported to their scheduled after-school drop-off location.
